How to apply for a course

Applying for a course at the Wiltshire School of Beauty & Holistic Therapy is easy.

Simply follow the steps shown below:

1. Select the type of course from the drop down menu’s.
2. View available courses to find out more information.
3. Click on the ‘buy course’ button.
4. You will be taken to our new purchasing system ‘Booking Hound’, where you can purchase your course or courses.
5. Select course date. You will be asked to complete the questionairre prior to making your order. Simply follow the booking form through to payment.
6. You will receive a confirmation email, then one of our team will be in touch to discuss the course further.
7. Payment is required at time of booking. A payment plan can be arranged if required for some course fees.
8. Please contact the School if you wish to apply for the 19+ Learner Loans, only certain courses are available for this option.
9. Once payment has been received by the School and cleared you will receive a confirmation letter with your training manual via email
10. Study the theory elements of your course.
11. We look forward to meeting you at the school where you will take practical aspects of your course.

Important Information:

The school offers WSBHT Diplomas and Certificates, these are accredited and insurable through The Guild and recognised nationally.

(Please note that the FHT does not insure these Diplomas or Certificates, but many others do, including the Guilds own insurers)

The main differences between a Guild Qualification (School Diploma) and VTCT are:

• VTCT is International, the Guild is National
• All spas/hotels/clinics will recognise VTCT and may prefer that qualification over the Guild
• VTCT require you to carry out more assessments than the Guild (usually 2 more)
• Most Guild courses will require you to carry out case studies
• VTCT usually require you to complete external assessments (written mulitple choice tests). The Guild do not.
• The Guild may require you to compile a file of evidence (provided by the School)
• The Guild may require you to complete Underpinning Knowledge Questions (provided by the School)
• There is more teaching time/assessment time if you are studying a VTCT course.
